Jeremy Schonfeld Will Launch 88 STORIES With Special Event At 54 Below
Donnie Kehr, Max Sangerman, and Melvin Tunstall III are among the special guests joining Schonfeld onstage.
Billboard-charting singer-songwriter, composer, filmmaker, and theatrical storyteller Jeremy Schonfeld will return to New York City for a one-night-only concert event at 54 Below on Monday, June 1 at 7:00 PM.
Known for his emotionally charged songwriting and genre-crossing work spanning theater, film, and recording, Schonfeld will perform selections from his acclaimed catalog, including music from The Father Who Stayed, Drift, Iron & Coal, Brooklyn to Beacon, 37 Notebooks, and his latest album, Shades of Grey.
Schonfeld will be joined onstage by special guests Karina Gallagher (The Wedding Singer at The UKyYi New London Barn Playhouse), Gussie Schonfeld (The Father Who Stayed, N'Kenge Foundation Showstoppers winner), Donnie Kehr(Jersey Boys, Billy Elliot, The Who's Tommy, Urgent), Max Sangerman (Dead Outlaw, A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical), Melvin Tunstall III (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and Brook Wood (Season 27 of NBC's The Voice).
Adding even more heart to the evening is the House of Love Choir under the direction of John Urban, featuring Demitrio Acot, Jackie Berliant, Stephanie Berry, Angel Fan, Mary Fan, Joan Harris, Susan Hinkson-Carling, Emily Jewell, Barbee Monk, Elisa Peimer, Mark Sullivan, and Ronnie Viggiani.
The band includes musicians Nate Allen (bass), Matt Dickey (guitar and keys), Dan Garcia (guitar), Jay Leslie(saxophone), and David Previ (drums), with Schonfeld on piano and vocals.
Supporting the launch is a strategic leadership team including Michael T. Clarkston, Cody L. Hall, Matthew Gilbert, and Chris Burney.
The performance follows recent sold-out concerts at The Button Factory in Auckland and The Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, New York.
This is more than juřst a return to the NYC music scene, but the launch of 88Stories, th new home for all things music, film, concerts, stories and collaborations.
