Jazz At Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club  will present Jared Grimes: 100 Miles On Tap! on May 26th at 7p & 9pm. Tap dancing virtuoso Jared Grimes brings a fresh perspective to the music of Miles Davis, turning the bandstand into a lively conversation of rhythm, sound, and movement. With dazzling footwork and deep musicality, Grimes explores the spirit and innovation of Miles through tap, swing, and improvisation. The performance is part of Jazz at Lincoln Center's Month of Miles, a celebration honoring the centennial of the legendary trumpeter.

Jared Grimes plays Dizzy's Club (10 Columbus Circle Broadway at 60th Street, 5th Floor) on May 26th, 2026 at 7pm & 9pm.  Cover charge is $60 (includes $5 in fees) for the 7pm show and $55 (includes $5 in fees) for the 9pm show. $30 (includes $5 in fees) cover charge for students. There is a $25 food and beverage minimum. 

Jared Grimes is a quadruple threat, having starred on Broadway, in film and on TV as an actor, singer, dancer and choreographer. He was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for the recent Broadway revival of Funny Girl. Other Broadway credits include the Roundabout's production of A Soldier's Play opposite Blair Underwood, and After Midnight (2014 Astaire Award for Outstanding Male Performer). He most recently played Garrett Morris in the Off-Broadway play, Not Ready for Prime Time.

Jared was featured in numerous episodes of the Netflix hit series, Manifest. He starred in the Annapurna film, “Swing Kids,” and he portrayed Sammy Davis Jr. in “Birth of the Blues” on American Songbook for PBS. 

Last month, Jared won a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Choreography for New York Theatre Workshop's Lights Out: Nat “King” Cole. He performed for Barack Obama at DC's Kennedy Center and toured with music legend Mariah Carey. He's also danced with Common, Salt-n-Pepa, Envogue, Busta Rhymes and the Roots.
