GREAT COMET's Kennedy Caughell Set for Solo Debut Concert, #SWINGnation

The Green Room 42, presents (from the cast of Broadway's "Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812") Kennedy Caughell in her solo concert debut, on June 19th, 2017 at 8:00 PM. The evening, entitled "#SWINGnation" features music ranging from Cole Porter to Sara Bareilles, swung by one of Broadway's hottest rising stars.

Featuring a phenomenal band, led by music director Joshua Stephen Kartes and additional vocals by Deshawn Bowens, Tim Fraser, Heather Jefferies, Adam Rennie, and Nyla Watson , this evening harkens back to a time when the voices were as big as the brass section. The evening is directed by Ryan Speakman with choreography by Lauren Lim Jackson.

Described on Oxygen's "The Glee Project" as "one of the most skilled music theatre singers they've seen", Kennedy is currently appearing on Broadway in the Tony Nominated production for Best Musical, "Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812". Originally from Oklahoma, Kennedy holds a BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University. Shortly after graduating, Kennedy performed across the nation and abroad as Heather in American Idiot. Since then, she has been seen in multiple regional theatres and New York's own NYMF Festival. Prior to "Great Comet" Kennedy traveled the country by broomstick in the National tour of Wicked, covering Elphaba. With her dog Moose by her side, she now resides in New York City where she teaches, in addition to performing, and is now taking the cabaret scene by storm.
