Donna Moore's Cougar!, the critically acclaimed funny, sexy and hot musical about mature women on the prowl for sexy young bucks - a phenomenon that has been sweeping the nation - has been booked into The Laurie Beechman Theater at The West Bank Cafe (407 West 42nd Street) for select performances in February, March and April 2008. This is another major stop for this musical production along the long winding road from Comedy Clubs and small cabaret venues enroute to an Off Broadway engagement later this year.

Performances are scheduled for Saturday, February 16, and Saturday, March 1, at 9:30 PM; as well as on Fridays, April 11 and 18, at 8:00 PM. There is a $20 cover charge and a $15 food/beverage minimum. Tickets are available online at www.theatermania.com. You can also call for reservations at 212/352-3101. Use code "BWAY" for reduced price $15 tickets.

"Although Time Magazine first designated the word "COUGAR" as the Number 1 Buzzword for 2007, Donna Moore began developing her show nearly four years ago when she realized that older women prowling for younger men was no longer a rarity but a fact of life. Cougar! has grown rapidly in size and scope since Donna first introduced the concept in her comedy shows several years ago. During the development process, she has  worked with musical collaborators, directors, choreographers and a new producer who is aiming to develop the show into a full-grown Off Broadway stage production," explain press notes.

Cougar! began as a one-woman show, showcasing Donna's talents as a performer, and has grown steadily into a production where Donna is the star but also has three featured performers working with her on stage.

Directed by Robert Brink, Cougar! features an original music score by Donna Moore and Mark Barkan. The Music Director is Tracy Stark. The choreography is by Leasen Almquist. The musical is a production of Blue Cloud Productions, LLC. In association with The Story Line Project LLC.
