The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to announce a special performance on Tuesday, April 19 @ 7pm featuring performances from the three shows nominated for Special Production in the 2011 MAC Awards. There is a $10 cover charge ($5 for MAC members), as well as a $15 food/beverage minimum. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within The West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd St., in the heart of New York's Theatre district. The three shows nominated for this year's MAC (Manhattan Association of Clubs & Cabarets) award are:

Mary Dimino's Scared Skinny, a one (hundred pounds lighter) woman show about growing up fat, funny and afraid in an Italian Family in Queens. Directed by Christine Renee Miller.

Faye Lane's Beauty Shop Stories, which recalls the glittered-up memories of a Texas Green Bean Queen, in bedazzling story and song. Directed by Jay Rogers.

This one night only event will be hosted by cabaret's own Sidney Myer. The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs will present The 25th Annual MAC Awards Show May 10 at 7:30 PM at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill. Tickets, priced $50 - $160 plus a two-drink minimum, are available by visiting www.brownpapertickets.com/event/163415 or www.macnyc.com.
