Amanda Green begs the musical question "Does This Song Make My Ass Look Fat?" an evening of her elegant lyrics at The York Theater Company on Monday, March 10 at 7PM. Matt Gallagher is musical director.

The evening will feature Jenn Colella (The Beebo Brinker Chronicles, High Fidelity), Jenifer Foote (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Amy Spanger (The Wedding Singer, Chicago), Brad Oscar (Spamalot, The Producers), Max von Essen (Les Miseables) and introducing Randy Blair (The Adding Machine).

Lyricist Green was tapped by Arthur Laurents to write additional lyrics for a revival of Hallelujah, Baby! (with a score by her father Adolph Green, Betty Comden and Jule Styne).  Other credits include her original revue Put A Little Love In Your Mouth: The Tongue-In-Cheek Songs Of Amanda Green. She is the recipient of a 2004 Jonathan Larson Award.
