54 Below will present 54 Sings The Second Barbra Streisand Album, a one-night-only concert event celebrating the iconic 1963 release by Barbra Streisand, on May 21 at 9:30pm.
Conceived, music directed, and arranged by Michael Cuschieri and directed by Joey Rodriguez, this special evening pays tribute to Streisand's sophomore album by faithfully recreating the original orchestrations by Peter Matz, while also featuring fresh, contemporary arrangements that reimagine the material for today's audiences.
Backed by a dynamic seven-piece band, the concert will showcase a lineup of standout vocalists from the worlds of Broadway and beyond, bringing new life to beloved tracks such as “Down With Love,” “When the Sun Comes Out,” and “I Stayed Too Long at the Fair.” Audiences can expect an evening of rich musical storytelling, honoring the artistry and legacy of one of the most influential performers of all time.
