WATCH: A Sketch About Consent from We Are Thomasse

Over the past two years, Sarah Ann Masse and Nick Afka Thomas have tackled tough topics with humor, creating popular sketches such as Feminist Fairytales and Equal Pay to make big points in a funny, easy-to-digest way. The recent movement against sexual harassment and assault is particularly close to their hearts, with Sarah right at the center of the fight against Harvey Weinstein, which is why their new sketch, Christmas Crime, addresses the basics of consent and the hypocrisy of victim-blaming, all with the signature We Are Thomasse flair for making serious topics accessible through laughter.

In Christmas Crime, watch as Beth (Sarah Ann Masse) deals with a very entitled intruder, Gary (Nick Afka Thomas), who breaks into her beautifully decorated house and "compliments" her on her twinkly lights and big (door) knocker. Beth's dutiful boyfriend Hank ('Trial & Error's' Steven Boyer) tries to stand up for her, but it's Beth who reminds Gary her decorations are for her pleasure only and not for his consumption.

As long standing advocates for survivors of sexual assault, both Sarah and Nick hope you will enjoy the video and then share it to help further the dialogue on the important issue of consent.

In the past 18 months, We Are Thomasse has racked up over 10 million views on their original sketches, including for their exceptionally popular "Awkward Exes" series.
