The big challenge in a long format is to keep the audience coming back till the very end but I couldn't think of all that. For me it was about making the best film in every episode, treating each episode as important as the next to tell the whole story." Vinay has collaborated with Mr. Aamir Khan as a Chief AD on four projects including Ghajini, Three Idiots, Dangal and Satyamev Jayate. This experience is very close to Vinay's heart and he uses it as a benchmark as he found a mentor and an inspiration in Mr. Aamir Khan. "What you see on screen is just the tip of the very impressive ice berg! Even off cam there is so much to Mr. Aamir Khan, so many things to learn from him. Working with him is the best film schooling I could have ever had." He says praising the star! A complete outsider in the film industry, Vinay worked extensively with the directors like Rajkumar Hirani, Nitesh Tiwari, Ashutosh Gowarikar, John Matthew Matthan an? Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. Sharing his experience of working with master storytellers, Vinay Waikul says, "The one thing that I learnt from all the fine directors I worked with was that there is no substitute for hard-work! They all throw themselves passionately in the films and that's the only way." Along with these massive films he also worked on some 60 odd commercials as a 1st AD.
