Tony winner Judith Light (Broadway's The Assembled Parties & Other Desert Cities; TV's "Transparent," "Ugly Betty") will join Roberta Colindrez (Fun Home; TV's "I Love Dick"), Zachary Spicer (The Good Catholic), Carson Meyer (SPF-18; TV's "Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors"), and John Ortiz (Kong: Skull Island; TV's "Togetherness") in the upcoming indie drama MS. WHITE LIGHT.

Written and directed by Paul Shoulberg (The Good Catholic), the film will be produced by Zachary Spicer and John Robert Armstrong for their Indiana-based company Pigasus Pictures.

Shooting begins October 27 in Bloomington, IN, and marks Shoulberg's second feature to be produced by Spicer and Armstrong.

MS. WHITE LIGHT is the first in Pigasus Pictures' slate of six films to be produced locally in Indiana over the next three years.

Colindrez plays Lex Cordova, a young woman who works at Cordova Mortality Solutions, the business she runs with her father Garry (Ortiz) counseling terminally ill clients who have trouble letting go. While proving uniquely talented in her ability to connect with the dying, Lex is at a total loss when it comes to dealing with everyone else. When Valerie (Light), a sharp-tongued free spirit who simply has no time for her own mortality, refuses to play by Lex's rules, Lex is forced to question her own decisions, and must decide if the business of dying is truly worth it...even at the cost of living her life. Spicer plays Spencer Wilkins, a psychic medium with ulterior motives and Meyer portrays Nora Shaw, a young woman dying of a terminal blood disease who is being treated by Lex.

"We couldn't be happier with this amazing cast for our second feature," said Spicer. "Paul is a great story-teller and has a strong vision for the film that will certainly tap into one of today's most discussed topics - our own mortality."

Shoulberg's first feature was The Good Catholic, starring Danny Glover, John C. McGinley, Wrenn Schmidt and Zachary Spicer, which he wrote and directed and Pigasus Pictures produced. Broad Green Pictures released it in 2017.

Pigasus Pictures - an independent, Indiana based production company - was founded in 2014 by Indiana University alumni Zachary Spicer and John Robert Armstrong. With the vision of revitalizing the film industry in their Hoosier state, they have a diverse slate of six films to be produced locally over the next three years.
