Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE: CVC) today named Tom Montemagno the company's executive vice president of programming, responsible for all programming-related functions and negotiations covering all forms of content delivered to customers – including linear, On Demand and out-of-the-home authenticated programming. He will report to James L. Dolan, Cablevision's president and CEO.

Mr. Montemagno joined Cablevision more than 23 years ago and has held various positions within the company's programming department, most recently serving as senior vice president of programming acquisition and the company's lead negotiator with content companies. He has been instrumental in the development and ongoing expansion of the company's core video product, which now reaches customers in more ways, more places and on more devices than ever before.

"Tom has made an enormous contribution to Cablevision over more than two decades and has clearly established himself as a leader on our executive team and a leader in the industry," Mr. Dolan said. "His ability to work with programmers to reach the increasingly complicated agreements that continue to shape and define our core video product is well established and has been an invaluable asset to Cablevision. I am pleased to welcome Tom to my senior executive team in this new and expanded role."

Mr. Montemagno earned his Bachelor of Science from St. John's University. He resides on Long Island with his family.
