Susan Lucci to Guest Host ABC's The View Today
TVGuide.com is reporting that Broadway veteran and Daytime Emmy Winner Susan Lucci will serve as a guest host for the September 23rd episode of ABC's The View. Lucci has graced the Great White Way as the star of Annie Get Your Gun.
The episode is set to honor the daytime program All My Children, as the final episode of the hit drama will air later that day. Lucci has played the role of Erica Kane on All My Children since the show's 1970 debut.
The View will also welcome other All My Children cast and creatives, including performers Cameron Mathison and Rebecca Budig, as well as the show's creator, Agnes Nixon.
All My Children is an American television soap opera that has been broadcast on ABC in the US Monday through Friday after it debuted on January 5, 1970; repeat episodes air weeknights on SOAPnet.
