According to The Hollywood Reporter, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's Seth Meyers and Lorne Michaels are currently in the process of developing a new 'brothers comedy' for NBC. The network has also announced that they have given a script order for a project based on the recent film "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel."

The currently untitled Meyer's comedy is from the SNL comic and his younger brother Josh Meyers. The siblings will write and executive produce the project along with Peter Grosz and Lorne Michaels. Michaels is also tied to NBC's Up All Night, 30 Rock and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Ol Parker, who wrote the script for 'Best Exotic Marigold Hotel', will also pen Universal Television's Hotel California, which will focus on "a high-end Los Angeles hotel and its general manager and permanent resident Jamie Jones, who's determined to keep the property as "the place to stay" in the city." Daniel Pipski will executive produce.
