Original Score for Amazon Original Series TRANSPARENT Out Now

On December 11th, Season 2 of the multi-Emmy and Golden Globe winning comedy/drama TRANSPARENT became available exclusively to members of Amazon Prime. The Original Score from TRANSPARENT also became available on Prime Music to coincide with Season 2's release.

The Original Score from TRANSPARENT was written by pianist/composer Dustin O'Halloran. In 2015 O'Halloran won a Prime Time Emmy award for the show's opening theme.

A self-taught pianist who began playing at the age of 7, O'Halloran recorded the score in his Berlin studio on three vintage pianos. O'Halloran collaborated on the parts of the score with violinist Lili Hayden and singer/songwriter Alice Bowman. "Working on the score for TRANSPARENT has been an incredible journey delving deep into all the emotional layers of Jill Soloway's characters," says O'Halloran.

With four solo albums under his belt, O'Halloran has also composed for the films Marie Antoinette, An American Affair, Like Crazy, The Other Dream Team, Now is Good, Breathe In, and more. He also forms one half of the ambient music duo A Winged Victory for the Sullen.

The debut season of TRANSPARENT won two Golden Globes and five Emmy awards, and Season 2 was just nominated for 3 Golden Globes including Best Television Series, Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role.
