New Dan Brown Book INFERNO Coming May 14th!

On this morning's TODAY show on NBC, it was revealed that the highly-anticipated next novel from author Dan Brown will be called 'Inferno.' Thousands of Today show viewers helped figure out the book's title based on a a secret image posted on Today.com. Using social media, Brown fans used a live mosaic to slowly reveal the name of the novel.

According to Todaynews.com, "Inferno" will be set in Italy and continues the adventures of symbologist Robert Langdon, publisher Doubleday said. It will be released on May 14.

Said Brown in a statement, "Although I studied Dante's 'Inferno' as a student, it wasn't until recently, while researching in Florence, that I came to appreciate the enduring influence of Dante's work on the modern world. With this new novel, I am excited to take readers on a journey deep into this mysterious realm...a landscape of codes, symbols, and more than a few secret passageways."

Inferno follows Brown's three previous books featuring the character of Detective Langdon, "Angels & Demons", "The Da Vinci Code" - which sold more than 81 million copies worldwide and ranks as the bestselling adult hardcover book of all time - and "The Lost Symbol."
