New ABC Pilot To Star Leighton Meester, Taran Killam & Brad Garrett

According to Deadline, ABC's newest pilot is set to star Leighton Meester, Taran Killam and Brad Garrett. The show is called SINGLE PARENTS, and comes from Liz Meriwether (NEW GIRL creator), writer J.J. Philbin, and 20th Century FOX TV. Read more about it from Deadline here!

The show centers on a group of single parents who depend on one another to raise their kids, navigate their love lives, and do life together.

Throughout the course of his career, Taran Killam has established himself as one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood. Perhaps best-known for his scene-stealing work on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE for six seasons, Taran extends his talents even further in 2017 as he maed both his Broadway and feature directorial debuts. He can currently be seen on stage as "King George III" in Lin-Manuel Miranda's award-winning Broadway hit HAMILTON at Richard Rogers Theater. Although HAMILTON will be Taran's Broadway debut, he has appeared off-Broadway in the City Center Encores! presentation of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS as Orin Scrivello opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Ellen Greene in 2015. In addition, Taran wrote, directed, and will star in the action-comedy WHY WE'RE KILLING GUNTHER opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cobie Smulders, and Bobby Moynihan, set to release in 2017. He also joins J.K. Simmons, Analeigh Tipton, and Emile Hirsch in the comedy ALL NIGHTER to be released on March 17, 2017. Taran's previous feature film credits include 12 YEARS A SLAVE, THE HEAT, GROWN UPS 2, MY BEST FRIEND'S GIRL, BIG FAT LIAR, JUST MARRIED, EPIC MOVIE, and BROTHER NATURE, which he co-wrote with Mikey Day. On television, Taran was most recently seen as a series regular on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE for six seasons. He has also appeared on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, COMMUNITY, SCRUBS, NEW GIRL, DRUNK HISTORY, MADTV and the Disney Channel Original Movie, STUCK IN THE SUBURBS.

Meester began her career performing in regional theatre before receiving critical acclaim for her portrayal of "Blair Waldorf" on the hit show "Gossip Girl." She had recurring roles on a variety of long running shows including "24," "Entourage" and "House." Meester is also a singer/songwriter and among other movies, starred opposite Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGRaw in the feature film Country Strong.

Garrett has won three Emmys and a Screen Actors Guild® Award for his role on the iconic comedy series Everybody Loves Raymond. He was also nominated for an Emmy and SAG Award for his portrayal of "The Great One," Jackie Gleason, in the television film Gleason, and recently appeared on This Is Us, Law & Order: SVU and Fargo. Garrett's feature film credits include Not Fade Away, Music and Lyrics and Suicide Kings, and his trademark voice has been heard in more than 30 animated films, including the contemporary classics Finding Nemo, Ratatouille and Tangled. He will also be heard as THE VOICE of Eeyore in Disney's upcoming live-action feature Christopher Robin and will co-star with Julianne Moore and John Turturro in Sebastian Lelio's Gloria.
