Mark Wahlberg, Connie Britton to Lead GOOD JOE BELL

Variety reports that Mark Wahlberg, Connie Britton and Reid Miller will lead Reinaldo Marcus Green's drama "Good Joe Bell," from "Brokeback Mountain" scribes Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry.

Wahlberg will play real-life Oregonian father Joe Bell, who sets out on a walk across the United States with his son, Jadin (Miller).

"Good Joe Bell" follows up Green's directorial debut, "Monsters and Men."

Wahlberg is a film star who starred in "Instant Family" opposite Rose Byrne. His other films include "Daddy's Home," "Ted," and "Lone Survivor". Up next he can be seen in Peter Berg's crime drama, "Wonderland."

Britton can currently be seen in the film "The Mustang," and is set to appear in the untitled Roger Ailes film and "Promising Young Woman." She's received Golden Globe nominations for her performances in "Dirty John" and "Nashville."
