According to the Hollywood Reporter, actress Lindsay Lohan will be returning as host of NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE on March 3rd. The show will mark the fourth time Lohan has served as host of the long-running sketch comedy show. NBC revealed the news in an on-air promo and Twitter posting which read "That's right: March 3rd, @lindsaylohan with musical guest Jack White!! See you then! #SNL #March3rd,".

Lohan also shared the news on her twitter account, posting, "SNL! I love @NBC !!!!!!!!!!!!!" and changing her Twitter profile picture to the network's promo advertisement. The last time Lohan appeared as host of SNL was in 2006. She has kept a strong relationship with the show and has co-starred with former head writer Tina Fey in the film 'Mean Girls'. She has often referred to the show's executive producer Lorne Michaels as her mentor.

The actress is currently finishing up a community service assignment she received after pleading guilty last spring to stealing an expensive necklace from a California jewelry store. She served five weeks of home confinement over the summer in connection with the theft.

Lohan recently posed nude in a spread for Playboy magazine in December for a reported $1 million. She is also rumored to be in talks to portray actress Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming TV biopic.
