Deadline.com reports that Kevin Sussman has been promoted to a series regular for the sixth season of CBS's THE BIG BANG THEORY.  The actor portrays Stuart Bloom, a manager of a comic book store frequented by the show's main characters.

The actor has appeared in the recurring role since the series' sophomore season and has been featured in 15 episodes. He follows in the path of other 'Big Bang' stars who have been upped from their original status, including Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik. Both actresses now appear in almost every episode of the comedy.

Sussman portrayed "Walter" on the now defunct comedy-drama Ugly Betty. He recently guest starred on the Showtime drama series Weeds.
