As first reported by Deadline.com, acting teacher Larry Moss will be making his feature film directing debut with an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's 'The Seagull".

The film, RELATIVE INSANITY, will take place in a modern-day Hamptons setting and will be a contemporary take on Chekhov's "The Seagull". Helen Hunt, David Duchovny, Maggie Grace, Joan Chen and John Robinson are set to star in the film. The script was co-written by Pier 3 Pictures' Michael Din and Juri Henley-Cohn. They will also produce the film along with their partner, Janine Glaime.

Hunt and Duchovny are among the students who have been coached by Moss during his 35 year career as an acting teacher. Other well-known students include Hilary Swank, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Jim Carrey, Michael Clark Duncan, Tea Leoni and Justin Timberlake.

Moss chose "The Seagull" to make his feature directorial debut because it is his favorite play. Shooting is set to begin next year.
