TV Line reports that Jaleel White, best known for his role of nerdy neighbor Steve Urkel in the hit 1990s sitcom Family Matters, will guest star on an upcoming episode of ABC's CASTLE.

According to the report, the actor will portray controversial sketch comedy performer Mickey Franks, who finds himself at the center of one of Richard Castle's (Nathan Fillion) murder cases in an episode titled, 'Dead From New York', a play on the tagline for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live.

White's TV credits include a starring role in Grown Ups. He also lent his voice to Sonic the Hedgehog for a variety of animated shows and appeared as a contestant on the 14th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2012.

Castle returns from hiatus on Monday, April 20 on ABC.
