DWTS: Recap- Tony and Kate Meet Their Fate

It will be a wrap for one couple after last night's "Movie Night" episode of Dancing with the Stars. But who will it be? The suspense is killing me, but I know I have an hour to wait.

Nicole and Derek and Kate and Tony were brought to the front of the stage (the highest and lowest scoring teams, respectively, from last night) and predictably Nicole and Derek were safe while Kate and Tony learned they were in the bottom two. How can she possibly pretend to be shocked?

In Len's recap, he used the word epic...which was epic. Also epic were the judges choosing Jake and Chelsie as the encore dance because Bruno wanted to see him in his tighty-whities again-- and I'm sure he wasn't the only one.

Maxwell was a guest performer on tonight's results show, singing "Fist Full of Tears" from his new album. His voice was different, and not the "different" that you use when you're trying not to insult someone but you really wish you could. I thought his performance was great, and the dance that accompanied it was full of amazing jumps and holds and spins and other fun things that the stars can't do.

Did you know that a mononym means going by a single name? Like Oprah, Seal, McLovin', and Maxwell? I didn't until I looked Maxwell up on Wikipedia and it told me.

Chad and Cheryl and Niecy and Louis were next to learn their fates. Niecy and Louis were told that they were safe, but Chad and Cheryl were told "You're still in jeopardy." What does that even mean? That's not a result. Why did the call them to the front of the stage if they weren't going to tell them anything?

Adam Carolla (a previous Dancing with the Stars contestant) did a recap of last nights' episode that was reminiscent of VH1's "The Soup" and had me LOL IRL (Laughing out loud in real life). It should definitely become a weekly tradition.

The switching between eras in the Macy's "Stars of Dance" performance was jarring, but fun. I especially liked the lighting throughout the different routines. These dances really make you realize how much the stars have to learn.

Latin American singer Debi Nova sang her first single "Drummer Boy" and danced as well. The song was so catchy! It will definitely be added to my Youtube favorites. Her song also reminded me of how much I love Josh Groban's version of "Little Drummer Boy." Anyone else?

I cannot wait until next week when we get to see the costumes that the stars design for their partners. White with pastel sequins? Ochocino-Couture? Leopard? Spandex? Sparkles and rhinestones and beads, oh my!

Evan and Anna are safe and Jake and Chelsie are "still in jeopardy." This whole "jeopardy" thing is making me angry.

Erin and Maks found out they were safe and Pamela and Damian were tossed in the "jeopardy" category.

How many times can they possibly show recaps of last nights' performances?

Jake and Chelsie were told they were safe next, yay! Chad and Cheryl were also safe- and after some confusion, they celebrated. Pamela and Damian were sent to join Kate in the bottom two.
Drum roll please- the couple going home this week isssss Kate and Tony! Ah, justice is served. In her parting interview she said, "My gut feelings are always right." I could take a low blow and ask what her gut feelings were when marrying Jon...but, that would be mean.

All 7 teams showcase their fancy footwork on Mondays, at 8:00-10:00 PM. The couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes for both performances will be sent home.

Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday night during and up to 30 minutes after the "Dancing with the Stars" performance shows. AT&T customers may also text message their votes by texting the word "VOTE" and entering the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (message and data rates may apply). Viewers may also vote online at www.abc.com starting from the opening of each episode on the East Coast and until 12:00 Noon, ET the following day.
