Christian Bale, Ben Affleck Proclaim Batkid the 'Best Batman Ever'

On Friday, Batkid's dreams came true.

As widely reported, the city of San Francisco and the Make-a-Wish Foundation helped 5-year-old cancer patient Miles Scott become the caped crusader - if only for a day - with the help of a few thousand supporters.

On Saturday, actors who've portrayed the legendary Batman spoke out excitedy at what was done for the nationally beloved 'Batkid.'

"It's so touching," THE DARK KNIGHT's Christian Bale said in an interview with Vulture thi sweekend. "Wasn't that fantastic?"

"I've never been on Twitter," Bale continued, according to Variety. "But how great a thing that it can create something like that! I mean, wonderful. This little kid, oh my God - what a wonderful day for the little fella! It's just fantastic, seeing all those people who were out there to support it."

On Saturday afternoon, Affleck followed up Bale's sentiment with a tweet: "Batkid. Best Batman ever. #SFBatKid #MakeAWish @SFWish"

"Today, November 15, 2013, is Batkid day forever," per Variety, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee said outside of City Hall on Friday. "You won our hearts with your story ... It's been a day of magic."
