A nationwide open casting call for the new CBS live action game show series CANDY CRUSH has launched online, it was announced today by CBS, America's most watched network; Lionsgate, a premier next generation global content leader; and King, a leading interactive entertainment company for the mobile world and creator of the globally renowned mobile game franchise, Candy Crush. For the new series, fans of the Candy Crush games who are looking to LEVEL UP and reach a new milestone can now put their skills to the test on enormous interactive game boards featuring next generation technology. Taking inspiration from all three games in the franchise, Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga and Candy Crush Jelly Saga, the revolutionary interactive stage will challenge teams to compete in the Candy Crush Arena for the chance to become champions and win a big cash prize!

Contestants will play in teams of two and potential candidates can apply as individuals or alternatively with a partner who is game to take on this sweet adventure through the Candy Kingdom, where "Match Three" masters can tackle a variety of obstacles head on.

CANDY CRUSH will be produced by Pulse Creative in association with Lionsgate Television, King Ltd. and CBS Television Studios. Matt Kunitz, Peter Levin, Russell Binder, John Quinn, Nicki Sheard, VP Brand at King, and Sebastian Knutsson will serve as executive producers. Knutsson is King's chief creative officer and is one of the founders of the company. He created Candy Crush Saga.
