CBS Leads All Networks with Combined 15 Wins at 44th DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

The CBS Television Network leads all networks with 15 wins at the "44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" ceremonies this weekend. THE TALK won its first Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host Daytime Emmy Award, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS's Gina Tognoni won for Outstanding Lead Actress and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL's Scott Clifton won the Outstanding Lead Actor category. Clifton is the first male actor in Daytime Emmy history to win all three acting categories - Younger, Supporting and Lead.

Daytime's #1 drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, also received the Outstanding Supporting Actor award for Steve Burton, the Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team, and three additional creative arts Emmy Awards. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL received the Outstanding Guest Performer award for Jim O'Heir and also received three honors at the creative arts Emmy Awards. THE PRICE IS RIGHT took home the Outstanding Directing in a Game Show award.

In addition, CBS News won one honor, with CBS SUNDAY MORNING winning the Outstanding Technical Team category.

The celebration continues today as the newly named Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host winners of THE TALK host their Annual Daytime Emmy "After-Party" (2:00 PM, ET / 1:00 PM, PT), featuring exclusive appearances from many of the night's biggest winners, including all of television's daytime dramas.
