'Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn Joins Second Season of NBC's SHADES OF BLUE

Deadline reports that Anna Gunn will appear in a recurring role in Season 2 of NBC's SHADES OF BLUE, the hit series starring Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta. Production is currently underway in New York for a mid-season return.

The 'Breaking Bad' star will portray a City Councilwoman and the former protégée of Wozniak (Liotta). The character is described as "being a chameleon who rose up the ranks of the NYPD to Captain and then launched a political career fueled by her charisma and the fact that she is as comfortable at a blue-collar bar as she is at the Governor's mansion. As the season progresses, the details of her meteoric rise and her much darker and Machiavellian side comes to the fore."

Drea de Matteo, Dayo Okeniyi, Vincent Laresca, Hampton Fluker, Warren Kole, Sarah Jeffrey and Gino Pesi also star.
