Actor Treat Williams Set to Guest Star on NBC's LAW & ORDER SVU

According to TVGuide.com, actor Treat Williams is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of the NBC drama series, LAW & ORDER:SVU.

The actor will play the role of former quarterback Jake Stanton, who gets tangled up in a sting operation involving a prostitute who is a minor. Bayard Ellis, actor Andre Braugher, will serve as Stanton's defense attorney at the trial. 

Williams is a Golden Globe Award winner who was most recently seen on TV in the role of Dr. Andy Brown on 'Everwood', in which he starred for four seasons. He currently stars in the series 'Against the Wall' on Lifetime.  

,William's episode of the NBC show, entitled "Spiraling Down" will begin shooting this week and is set to air on December 7th. 

LAW & ORDER: SVU airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
