Coney Island USA Spring Gala Set for 3/28

The Coney Island USA Annual Spring Gala is an important fundraiser for this not-for-profit arts organization. Founded in 1980 by Dick D. Zigun, Coney Island USA brings New York City the famous Mermaid Parade, Coney Island Circus Sideshow, Burlesque at the Beach, The Coney Island Museum, Coney Island Film Festival, and other beloved programming. All proceeds of the Gala go directly towards funding these distinctive arts programs.

This year's benefit will feature signature performances by superstars of the Burlesque and Sideshow movement, as well as go-go dancers and live music. Also, many "curiosities" await attendees, including American Horror Story's Mat Fraser. Food and an open bar are included.

"Our Annual Spring Gala is the most fun you can legally have while still supporting the arts - it's where we dazzle you with the breath-taking variety of our work," stated Dick D. Zigun, Founder of Coney Island USA. "We're a lean organization and rely on this to help fund fantastic events like The Mermaid Parade. We're dedicated to preserving Coney Island's historic wonder while expanding its contemporary arts cultural development."
