JAMES KENYON
BIO:
James Kenyon was born in Gawler, South Australia in 1977. He currently lives and works as a Lecturer in Drawing in Melbourne, Victoria.
James Kenyon has a Bachelor in Fine Art (Drawing,Hons) from the Victorian College of the Arts, completed in 2006. His work has been included in a variety of exhibitions, including The 2010 McClelland Sculpture Survey, The Wallara Travelling Scholarship Finalists Exhibition, The Keith and Elisabeth Murdoch Travelling Scholarship finalists exhibition at Margaret Lawrence Gallery (2007,2009); and at the Castlemaine State Festival (2009). He has had four solo shows including ‘The Lost City of Adelaide’ at Westspace in 2010, and spent August of 2010 as a resident of the Contemporary Art Centre in New York. Kenyon has work in a variety of public and private collections throughout Australia and is represented by MARS Gallery.
