Wonkybot Studios Releases SPOOKY TROOP ImageWonkybot Studios has released the children and family audio adventure story album Spooky Troop: The Last Halloween in digital format, immediately available today at Wonkybot.com, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and other retailers. Physical copies of the album can also be pre-ordered today, exclusively at wonkybot.com.

The company has also produced a video featurette introducing the creators, composers and international cast, available on the website.

Created, written and voice directed by Stewart St John (Sabrina: The Animated Series, Disney Channel's Seventeen Again), Spooky Troop: The Last Halloween is a "movie for the ears", a complete audio adventure story with over 60 minutes of original story, music, songs, sound effects and an international cast of kids starring as the Spooky Troop. It's based on St John's multimedia franchise Spooky Troop, with a book series soon to follow.

"The seven main characters in Spooky Troop: The Last Halloween are a diverse group of supernatural friends who exist in a netherworld," said Stewart St John. "They've come together despite their differences, and are out to set an example to their dark world. We explore positive and important themes of friendship, standing up for yourself, and being who you truly are throughout the series."

The full-cast audio adventure album also features an original score and songs by Stewart St John & Michael Plahuta, the musical composing team behind the recent off-Broadway musical concert performance of Tara Tremendous - The Musical.

"Musically we approached the material as though we were scoring a feature film," said Plahuta, co-founder and musical director of Wonkybot Studios. "Stewart and I have created rich themes and melodies for each of the characters, and an exciting, spooky score that helps tell the story and moves the action right along."

"We originally launched the brand as a podcast," explains Wonkybot co-founder and Spooky Troop producer Todd Fisher. "But it has been digitally re-mastered and now released as a single album containing the whole Halloween story. It's a real trick-or-treat for the ears!"

In Spooky Troop: The Last Halloween, the friends discover the Demon King's plan to wipe out the "Pitifuls" - humans in the third dimension - on Halloween, and must work together to find out a way to stop him... or watch an entire universe vanish, leaving the Demon King more powerful than ever!

An international cast of real kids voice the seven friends: Jacob King as Stewart the Sorcerer, Maia McLachlan as Valerie the Vampire, William Abernathy as Willie the Werewolf, Ramsey Whitney as Zianna the Zombie, Rebecca King as Delilah the Demon, Max Kazanjian as Michael the Monster and Bryant Whitney joining the cast as Todd the Oddbot. Also featuring the voice talents of Mal Plahuta, Chris Abernathy, Mia Moravis, Trevor Sewell, Chris McCartie, Steve King and Stewart St John as the Demon King.
