The Warner Theatre will welcome The Temptations and The Four Tops as they perform together on the Main Stage on Friday, March 3 at 8:00 pm. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 7 at 10:00 am.

Back in the day, Temps and Tops were rivals at Motown Records, and each did their utmost to create the bigger hits and the hottest stage shows. Today, albeit with some understudies taking on various vocal assignments, the groups are still making the most of essential songs from the Baby Boom soundtrack. As reported in the New York Times earlier this year, "Some of the members' gold-lamé jackets (are) a few sizes larger than they were decades ago, but their voices are strong and their choreography taut and precise, with bits of stage business in every song and moves that some fans first saw on black-and-white TV."

The Combined repertoire from which these acts can choose is nothing short of staggering. Fans of this music can expect to be treated to some of the best of Motown soul, and to be delighted by its performance. The Temptations hits include "The Way You Do the Things You Do," "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," "Papa Was a Rolling Stone," "Treat Her Like a Lady," "(I Know) I'm Losing You," and "For Your Love," among others. The Four Tops can choose from "Walk Away Renee," "Reach Out, I'll Be There," "Bernadette," "I Can't Help Myself," "Baby I Need Your Lovin'," "It's The Same Old Song," and "Shake Me, Wake Me," but both lists can go on and on.

Tickets go on sale to the general public October 7. To become a Warner Member and purchase ahead of the public, call the Warner Box Office at 860-489-7180 or visit warnertheatre.org.
