VickyT, formerly of rock/pop band Cobra Starship, has released her single "Ghost" today via Baeble Music. The tracks "infectious melody sounds effortless," says Baeble, "it's a pop song, but there's a unique edge to it." Watch and share the video here and stream the track here.
VickyT tells Baeble: "Ghost" is a song I wrote after returning to London for the first time since a breakup. Every corner, every building reminded me of my ex and I kept mistaking other people for him. It was a really hard time for me but resulted in this song which is one of my favorite tracks. I made this track with two wonderful people I love madly in Amsterdam: Jantine Heij and Henk Jan Kooistra. Their talent really brought the song to life." Born Victoria Asher, VickyT grew up in a highly creative environment with her father, multiple-Grammy-winning producer/manager/musician Peter Asher, and mother Wendy Worth, a respected art curator. Half-English and half-American, growing up steeped in music, books, films and painting, Victoria has enjoyed a varied and exciting creative life thus far, defying definition and description - and she now looks to make her mark on the world with her infectious Synth Pop. As expected given her background, VickyT is a renaissance woman. She has a hand in all aspects of her work-songwriting, music production, vocals, and even directing her own music videos. The visual accompaniment is a huge part of her creative expression.Videos
