Text:"Tonight Jazz Vocalist Verena McBee & her Trio will repeat their show "Cat's Out Of The Bag" at the METROPOLTAN ROOM with an exciting program covering uniquely arranged favorites out of the Great American Songbook, Originals by Verena & some hit tunes by the popular Septet "The Cookers" composed by bassist & composer Cecil McBee.

On piano you will be the young and outstanding Billy Test (www.billytest.com), on double bass extraordinary Zwelakhe Duma Bell LePere (www.zdfblp.com), excellent Jon Di Fiore (www.jondifiore.com) on the drum set plus two very Special Guest: Christian Contreras on Soprano & Tenor Saxophone and Gabriel Dowdy-Terracciano (www.gabeterracciano.com) on violin. "Cat's out of the Bag" is more than just another composition by Jazz Bassist & composer Cecil McBee, who will be present.
It is stating pure joy of improvising music, the excitement of the musical stage moment, the readiness and bluntness of this jazz group that takes full advantage of expressing their thoughts and emotions with great musicianship at any moment and that ties them together as the talented group they are.

Verena's lively and authentic singing and storytelling, her unique way of swinging and scatting and her beautiful way of interpreting ballads might keep you surprised throughout the night with its wittiness, depth, moodiness and out of all things: spontaneity. Enjoy an entertaining event with Verena McBee and her Trio!"
