Tune In To NPR's Weekend Edition, 7/5, for an Exclusive Interview with Raffi
Love Bug, Raffi's first new children's recording in over a decade, will be released by Rounder on July 15. Some reviewers are already sharing their excitement about the album with their readers.
Kids Can Groove enthused "I become a child again when I hear Raffi sing... His soothing voice brings me back to my childhood, and brings back memories of when my daughter was an infant and Raffi's music dominated every audio device we owned." Writing in Loving Heart Designs, Janet Coffield encourages her readers to "venture into the world of Love Bug and celebrate the real world by singing songs that promote love and joy."
Lee Littlewood of Creators.com calls Love Bug "a refreshingly joyful journey away from iPads and electronic devices," and praises the "positive, love-filled songs" on the album. MrJeff2000 calls Raffi "the yardstick" for kids' music, and observes that he "set a high standard that many others attempted to follow." And the CBC's Early Edition simply declared "Move over, Baby Beluga...and make room for the Love Bug!" Raffi will be a guest on NPR's Weekend Edition on Saturday, July 5.
