The Piano Guys Come to Benedum Center Tonight

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces that YouTube hit sensation, The Piano Guys, will bring their music from the computer screen to a live stage in the group's upcoming tour. The Piano Guys will enthrall audiences of young and old tonight, August 27, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the Benedum Center, 237 7th Street, Pittsburgh, PA. Tickets range from $32.25 to $62.25 and are available at www.TrustArts.org, by phone at 412-456-6666, or in person at the Box Office at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue.A limited number of Meet & Greet packages are available for $127.25 and include a post-show meet & greet photo opportunity with The Piano Guys and signed limited edition poster. This concert is part of the Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents series, presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

The Piano Guys became famous with YouTube videos that join music with special effects and "piano stunts." Their goal: to make a positive impact in the lives of people all over the world through music videos. Jon Schmidt (pianist/songwriter), Steven Sharp Nelson (cellist/songwriter), Paul Anderson (producer/videographer) and Al van der Beek (music producer/songwriter) tour across the country in what started out as a way to market a piano store run by Anderson in southern Utah.

Their videos include collaborations from behind the scenes crew and the many cellos of Nelson, including Ziggy, Thor, Bruce Lee, Jackie, Carmen Fibre, and Robert E. Lee. The Piano Guys have appeared in People magazine and have performed on TV around the world. Some of their major appearances include: The Today Show, Katie, The Tonight Show, Fox & Friends, CBS This Morning, Huckabee, BBC Breakfast (UK), Globo TV (Brazil), Mario Barth Show (Germany) and more. They also had a national PBS Special Live at Red Butte.
