The 35th Annual Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival Announces Full Lineup

Pulling off an impressive concert lineup for the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival June 1-3, the event celebrates their 35th year with 30 bands and top names like The Wallflowers, Lifehouse, Sugar Ray, Justin Moore, Spin Doctors, Pablo Cruise, Tyler Farr, Fuel, RaeLynn, Hoobastank and Lao Tizer.

It all begins Friday night, June 1 with a Beach Party Concert, featuring Sugar Ray with Mark McGrath, Spin Doctors and Safety Orange. Sugar Ray has a slew of feel-good, party-at-the-shore hits like "Someday," "Falls Apart," "When It's Over," "Fly," and "Under The Sun."

Multi-talented McGrath is known for his four years as a co-host of the entertainment show "Extra." Co-headlining is the 1990s grunge/rock/pop band The Spin Doctors, with hits "Two Princes" "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong," "What Time Is It," "How Could You Want Him (When You Know You Could Have Me?)," and "Jimmy Olsen's Blues."

Safety Orange is a San Diego based SoCal Vibe band with originals and cover tunes. Led by Sol Turpin on vocals, Safety Orange is booked regularly throughout Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.

Saturday heavy weights include The Wallflowers, Lifehouse, Hoobastank and Fuel. The Wallflowers hits include "One Headlight," "6th Avenue Heartache," "The Difference," and "Three Marlenas." Lead singer Jakob Dylan, is the son of folk rock legend Bob Dylan.

Lifehouse's 2000 debut album "No Name No Face" placed them on the Billboard Top Ten and sold over 15 million records worldwide. Hit singles include "You and Me," "First Time," "Whatever It Takes," "Broken," "Halfway Gone," and "Hurricane."

Fuel celebrates the 20th anniversary of their first studio album "Sunburn" this year. "Sunburn" catapulted the band to the top of both Rock and Alternative Charts and spawned the hit single "Shimmer." Fuel is also known for the mega-hit "Hemorrhage" from their second studio album "Something Like Human."

Hoobastank produced one of the top 100 YouTube Rock videos "The Reason." To date, the video has had over 411 million views. The album by the same name produced the hits "Disappear," "Same Direction," and "Out of Control." Hoobastank recently announced that their new album "Push Pull" will release May 25.

Sunday Country Funday has three-top selling performers - Justin Moore, Tyler Farr and RaeLynn. Platinum-selling Moore's recent album, "Kind of Don't Care," debuted at #1 and has the hits, "You Look Like I Need A Drink," and "Somebody Else Will." Moore's top hits include "Small Town USA", "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away," "Til My Last Day," "Point At You" and "Lettin' The Night Roll."

Singer/Songwriter Tyler Farr is known for his hits "Redneck Crazy," "A Guy Walks Into a Bar," and "Whiskey In My Water." A classically-trained opera singer, Farr has a voice degree from Missouri State University.

RaeLynn, nominated for ACM's 2018 Best New Female Vocalist of the Year at 23, was only 17 when she first appeared on "The Voice." Her debut single "God Made Girls" was certified-gold in 2014 and she has the recent hit "Queens Don't."

The Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival will feature 18 wineries and up to 40 Hot Air Balloons including the DreamShip. The DreamShip is a hot air balloon that's literally made from the dreams of the children of fallen and disabled military heroes. The fabric of the balloon features illustrations by these children, Folds of Honor Scholarship recipients, showcasing what they want to be when they grow up.

Some of Temecula's favorite wineries will be pouring their finest including Briar Rose Winery, Thornton Winery, Wiens Family Cellars, Monte de Oro, Maurice Carrie, Monte de Oro, Lorenzi Vineyards and Wilson Creek Winery.

Held at Lake Skinner Recreation Area, at the edge of Temecula's Wine Country, the Festival features dawn hot air balloon launches and flights, evening balloon glows, and food pairings, Admission is $25 to $45 for adults and $5 for juniors age 6-12.
