Stromae Premieres New Video For 'Quand C'est'; North American Tour Underway

Two days into his North American tour, global superstar Stromae has premiered his official video for the track "Quand C'est?"

The stunning black and white visual was created by Stromae's own artistic collective Mosaert - for which he also has a clothing line of the same name - and is as beautiful and haunting as the track itself.

"You started with her breasts, and then with my father's lung." "Quand C'est?" explores the pain caused and inevitable fear of Cancer. The ominous dark and spidery shadow that looms over Stromae (in the video), symbolizes the disease itself, as it awaits and preys on more victims to come.

In a clever play on words, the title of the song "Quand C'est?" translates to "When is it?" as Stromae a.k.a Paul Van Haver sings in breathtaking falsetto for the chorus "Cancer, Cancer, tell me when? Cancer, Cancer, who's next?"

Since the release of his North American debut album "Racine Carrée," international superstar Stromae has gone on to sell more than 3.5 million albums, reached #1's in 21 countries with his single "Papaoutai", #1 in 25 countries with his album "Racine Carrée," performed for hundreds of thousands of fans in stadiums across the globe, and for the first time in pop history, will be the first ever French spoken artist to have headlined the prestigious Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 1st.
