Soprano Liz Calle Teams with Jim Liogy Photography for New Artist Branding
Acclaimedcrossover soprano Liz Calle has teamed up with Masterdream Productions for the redesign of her entire artistic appearance. After the re-launch of the new website, the new stage design is now in progress. "At the moment I am preparing a new album with some of the most amazing song writers and a completely new show. We are also developing a unique sound design which combines multiple musical genres in surprising ways", says a joyful Liz Calle. After her first career steps in America and South America in the 90s, Liz Calle has been living in Europe for more than ten years, but is also inspired by the musical diversity of other cultures: "The music of other cultures often has incredibly fascinating treasures, and in Europe's music capital Vienna, I meet many world traveling artists for the exchange of musical ideas", says Liz Calle.
The photos for Liz Calles new website, concert posters and autograph cards have been shot in many different venues, and it was most important for photographer and producer Jim Liogy, to convey an absolutely authentic image of the singer in each photo: "Each photo must look like the artist, as seen in reality, in ideal light conditions for the viewer", said Jim Liogy at the press conference after the photo presentation. Jim Liogy was asked by a journalist, whether a good photo can be art or not: "I think the answer depends 90% on the motif. Works of art are beautiful singers themselves", jokes Jim Liogy, and this received applause by the attending male journalists, but also from female journalists taking this as a clearly positive note.
Liz Calle is known for her unique interpretations of Latin American ballads, but also Pop Ballads, Country and R & B songs, which are refined with her great classical voice. The artistic rebranding of Liz Calle is also the beginning of a new artistic orientation, in cooperation with international composers and text writers for future shows and concert tours.
