Bay Area girl gang Snow Angel is announcing the release of their eclectic debut album, due December 2. "Big Group Hug", the first video from the self-titled full length, can also be viewed exclusively via She Shreds Magazine. Led by Gabby La La on the electric sitar, the Snow Angel girls are rays of positivity and self-love in the DIY video. Stay tuned for more from this unique band.
The psychedelic funk-pop girls of Snow Angel, doused with hard hitting drums, bass, omnichord, guitar, keys and electric sitar, are back with more sunshine, funkier jams and full moon, crystal power in the year of the monkey! In short, it's a technicolor rainbow cheer party, sing-a-long, group hug with a happy ending. Snow Angel is Gabby La La on sitar and lead vocals, Melissa Leigh Hubbell on bass, Emily Studden on drums, Sarah Melekova on omnichord, Cadence Myles on guitar, and Alison Niedbalski on keys. Snow Angel is the dream child of Gabby La La, who is most well known for touring with Les Claypool's Fancy Band. Claypool produced and released La La's first album Be Careful What You Wish For... on his record label in 2005. La La followed up with the independent release of "I Know You Know I Know" in 2011 after years of national touring and appearances at Bonnaroo, High Sierra, All Good, and 10K Lakes. La La debuted her first music video for the song "Alarm Clock" in support of this album. She has since produced one more official music video under her own name and four for Snow Angel.Videos
