As 2016 is winding down, the career of singer/songwriter Tenille Arts is ramping up with her debut self-titled EP hitting October 14, 2016, a CCMA "Discovery Award" nomination and over 750,000 views on her YouTube channel. Produced by Adam Wheeler and Matt Rovey and released on 19th & Grand Records, Tenille co-wrote all six songs on the EP with the likes of Mark Narmore, Janelle Arthur, Jason Massey and Wheeler.
"I wanted this music to have a timeless sound and an organic feel but be fresh and new," said Tenille. "This music feels like my music, because when I started writing these songs I wasn't trying to sound like anyone else. I was just letting the music become whatever it wanted to be. That approach and Adam and Matt's production really made my personality come out in the songs and created a brand new sound." The 22-year-old behind all of this recent attention is a quietly confident country music lover Tenille Arts (her real name) who was raised in the small Canadian prairie town of Weyburn, Saskatchawan. She picked up the guitar and penned her first song at the age of 13 and has been performing across the US and Canada at various events ever since. She made her first trip to Nashville after being discovered on her YouTube channel at 15 and immediately began honing her skills with industry elite.Videos
