Sean Harkness, Fran Leonardis and More to Headline MUSIC AT THE MANSION Concert Series, 7/29


NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment in the monthly concert series, "Music at the Mansion," on Sunday, July 29, at 3pm. Performers to include musical theater performer Gerardo Mastrolia, cabaret singer Fran Leonardis and award winning guitarist Sean Harkness.

Gerardo Mastrolia is a New Jersey native and musical theater student at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts. He is a 2012 graduate of Passaic County Tech. Gerardo's favorite roles include Horton the Elephant in Seussical the Musical, Edna Turnblat in Hairspray and Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress. Most recently, he has been booked for several private parties impersonating Liza Minnelli.

Singer Fran Leonardis currently resides in Rutherford, NJ. She was the 2011 second runner up in the Metrostar Talent Challenge which was held at the Metropolitan Room in NYC. Fran was a guest performer on NYC's SALON and Wednesday Night's at the Iguana. Most recently, Fran was seen in Ruthless: The Musical and as the Rappin Granny in The Wedding Singer.

Sean Harkness, Fran Leonardis and More to Headline MUSIC AT THE MANSION Concert Series, 7/29Guitarist and Windham Hill recording artist, Sean Harkness recently garnered both the Outstanding Instrumentalist of 2011 Backstage Bistro Award, and a MAC Award [Manhattan Association of Clubs and Cabarets] for his New York solo shows. Sean has appeared as an artist and sideman extensively in New York’s finest jazz venues including the Blue Note, Smoke, Small’s, the Jazz Standard, Birdland, Iridium, Feinstein’s, Edison Ballroom, Mile’s Café, the Metropolitan Room, St. Nick’s, and Top Of The Rock at Rockefeller Center. He has six commercial recordings released to date.

"Music at the Mansion" is a series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series is hosted by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers - Adler and features Deborah Martin on piano. This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and administered by the Essex County Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs.
