Pink Martini to Play Le Poisson Rouge on Monday 12/12

Acclaimed Portland based "little orchestra" Pink Martini will be performing songs off their ninth studio album, Je dis oui!, at Le Poisson Rouge on Monday, December 12th & Town Hall on Tuesday, December 13th.

Je dis oui!-out November 18th via their own Heinz Records-features founder/bandleader and pianist Thomas Lauderdale with lead singersChina Forbes and Storm Large, and includes guest vocals from NPR "All Things Considered" host Ari Shapiro, fashion maven Ikram Goldman, civil rights activist Kathleen Saadat and Rufus Wainwright.

Of their music, The New York Times declares "...[Pink Martini] delivers a knowing sophistication backed by skillful arrangements," while The Washington Post calls it "...rich, hugely approachable music, utterly cosmopolitan yet utterly unpretentious."
