Photos: Trailer Released for DALLOWAY: FIRST LOVE at Gloucester Stage

Gloucester Stage Company has released the official trailer for Lindsay Joelle's DALLOWAY: FIRST LOVE, a National New Play Network World Premiere running now through August 29th.

The production follows Clarissa Parry at her eighteenth summer at Bourton as her obligation to save the family's estate confronts her desire to form a new path. The play is a coming-of-age prequel to Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway.

This production is part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere and will premiere at Invisible Theatre in Tucson, AZ, Oregon Contemporary Theatre in Eugene, OR, and Amphibian Stage in Fort Worth, TX following its debut at Gloucester Stage Company.
Coming to Gloucester Stage This September
MOON MAN WALK follows Spencer as he revisits his childhood home in Philadelphia following his mother's passing. With the help of the unfettered Petrushka, along with the haunting memory of his mother, Spencer dives into the mystery of his youth and uncovers the true identity behind his estranged father. The play is described as a time-bending, regional premiere drama exploring how the past shapes, protects, and connects people.
Written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright James Ijames and directed by Lyndsay Allyn Cox (Tiny Beautiful Things), MOON MAN WALK runs September 13 to 29. All performances are at the Natti-Willsky Performance Center – 267 East Main Street, Gloucester. Showtimes are Wednesdays – Saturdays at 7:30pm, with matinees Saturdays & Sunday at 2:00pm.
