NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, October 25, at 3pm. Performers include Michael Aquino, Charlotte Patton and Mary Foster Conklin & John DiPinto. The Young Musician Moment will feature Brandon Bennett.

Singer/Songwriter Michael Aquino is a Cuba-Rican musician and performer born in the urbanlands of northern New Jersey. He has played at the Cape May Singer-Songwriter Festival, Madison Holiday Arts Festival, Hillside Cafe, Montclair State Centennial Celebration, Boro 6 Music Festival, and the Glen Ridge Arts Festival, among others. Michael has written over 100 original songs and was nominated for a 2013 Jersey Acoustic Music Award (Top Male Songwriter category). He created and facilitated 14 Songs in 14 Days, an intensive online songwriting workshop. Michael was also the creator and host of Indie Music Circus, a showcase for independent musicians. His debut album, Giants Will Fall is available at michaelaquino.com.

Michael Aquino is also a professional actor and has performed at regional and NYC stages including Luna Stage, The American Globe, George Street Playhouse, The NY International Fringe Festival, and Playwrights Theatre of NJ. He is a co-creator of Mi Casa Tu Casa, a bilingual stage production. Michael received a degree in theater from Montclair State University and is a member of SESAC and Actors Equity Association.

Charlotte Patton started her cabaret career at the beloved club Eighty-Eights after attending the Cabaret Symposium at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center. After doing several shows at Eighty-Eights, Charlotte focused on her acting career, appearing in New York and regional theatres. She has played a surprising number of alcoholics including Evie, the recovering alcoholic who falls off the wagon in "The Gingerbread Lady;" the vicious pill-popping, alcoholic mom in "Sympathetic Division;" a rich drunk doyenne in "The Theory of Color "; a horny drunk in Isaac Brody's film "The Raffle" and the tipsy mom in Averie Storck's award-winning independent film "Showers of Happiness." One of her favorite (non-alcoholic) roles was the two-character "Marriage Play" by Edward Albee. And last year she shot her first horror film, "Child Eater." Charlotte returned to the cabaret stage in 2012 in well received show "Looking for Love in the 21st Century" at The Duplex which garnered her a nomination for Best Female Vocalist for the Broadway World Cabaret Awards. She recently completed a run of her critically acclaimed show "Celebrating Men (Bless Their Hearts)" at The Metropolitan Room.

John DiPinto and Mary Foster Conklin have performed as a duo at Caffe Vivaldi, 2nd Floor on Clinton, the Duplex, The Metropolitan Room and also continue to sing on various fire escapes with the Renegade Cabaret in the guise of The Man in the Hat and The Lady in the Red Dress. "Their jazzy, eclectic act has a comfortable, languid, kick back with a cocktail and enjoy feel,": praised Stephen Hanks in Cabaret Scenes. They are thrilled to return to Music at the Mansion. John will play accordion when the mood strikes him, Mary will be on ukulele, and together they will present arrangements of the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach, the Bobs, and more. Good music and a good time will be had by all!

"Music at the Mansion" is a 2012 MAC award nominated series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series is hosted by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers-Adler and will feature Deborah Martin on piano. Series hostess, Corinna Sowers-Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards. Sowers-Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center this past October. She recently nominated for the Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award. Corinna has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart, Let Me Sing and I'm Happy, and High Standards at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
