Manchester Orchestra To Headline Pandora's Fourth Annual Chicago Invasion

Manchester Orchest ra kicks off the biggest festival weekend in Chicago at Pandora's fourth annual Chicago Invasion featuring an exclusive live performance by Manchester Orchestra, free to an intimate audience of Pandora listeners with RSVP. Pandora Invasion attendees will be treated to custom activations from sponsors including: Ashley HomeStore®, belVita Breakfast Biscuits, Lime-A-Rita, White Castle®, and XFINITY.
The event will be held at Morgan Manufacturing | 410 N Morgan St. Chicago, IL 60642 onWednesday, August 2nd ABOUT MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA Manchester Orchestra will release their new full-length album A Black Mile To The Surface on July 28, 2017 via Loma Vista Recordings. Always seeking to push themselves creatively with each subsequent release, the Atlanta-based band - Andy Hull, Robert McDowell, Andy Prince, and Tim Very - has expanded their dynamic sound to peak form on the cinematic and epic album, which features production by Catherine Marks (Foals, PJ Harvey, The Killers), John Congleton (St. Vincent, Explosions In The Sky, Angel Olsen), and their longtime studio partner Dan Hannon. A Black Mile To The Surface showcases a band that rethought, deconstructed, and rebuilt their songwriting process to propel their music into a new emotional arena, drawing on singer/guitarist Hull and co-writer/multi-instrumentalist McDowell's unique experience scoring the 2016 Sundance hit film Swiss Army Man (directed by The Daniels). It's a reinvention of sorts -- both musically and personally -- and an evolution of the band, while also retaining the sweeping, melodic, and anthemic sounds for which Manchester Orchestra has become known.
