Luke Archer Releases New Single WHAT IS IT LIKE

Up and comer Luke Archer's new single 'What's it Like' is out today. The track is taken from his forthcoming debut EP to be released this spring. Check out the track premiering on Popculture.com: "It showcases Archer's arrival as a pop artist along with his growth as a songwriter."

Growing up in a small midwest town, Luke Archer grew up in a house filled with music, his siblings playing in band, singing in the choir and taking lessons on the family piano. Archer's own musicial journey started around age 6 where he'd tinker with the piano, making up tunes in his head. Soon enough he was learning to play piano as well as trombone and starting to sing. The first time he heard SInatra he knew what he wanted to do.

Archer says singing helped him overcome being a shy kid and in fifth grade he auditioned for the part of "Winthrop" in the high school musical The Music Man. He got the part, and from that point, was pretty much known as 'the singer' at school.

The singing continued through college where Archer auditioned for the Media Music program at BYU where he was one of 9 accepted that year. He soon moved to LA and started writing his own material and hooked up with producer Christian Davis who had heard some of Archer's demos and reached out about working together. When Davis relocated to Nashville from Los Angeles, Archer decided to make the move as well in early 2018 with plans to record more and put a live band together. Expect a lot more from Luke Archer.
