Louis Armstrong House Museum is hosting a GArden Party on May 5th & 6th from 12 Noon - 6:00 pm as part of the Partners in Preservation grant contest this weekend so visitors will enjoy live Jazz, historic house tours, red beans ‘n rice, swing dancing and an exciting raffle program designed to drum up votes for LAHM in the grant contest at www.PartnersInPreservation.com.

Louis Armstrong House Museum was named one of 40 historic places by American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation to compete in New York City’s first-ever citywide grassroots preservation contest, which began April 26th and runs through May 21st, 2012.

This effort, Partners in Preservation, is a call-to-action program enlisting the public to vote online for the preservation project they like best. Votes can be cast daily at www.PartnersInPreservation.com for Louis Armstrong House Museum.
