LA Based Alt-Folk Duo FREEDOM FRY Announce Debut Album To BE Released This Summer

Los Angeles based alt-folk duo Freedom Fry announce their highly anticipated debut album Classic set for release this summer - official date to be announced. Composed of Parisian-born Marie Seyrat and Michigan-born Bruce Driscoll, the band has become known for their danceable rhythms and infectious feel-good sound.

In celebration of album announce, the band shares a #girlpower version of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' Man On Fire. Freedom Fry's Girl On Fire is available on all digital platforms and is also featured in the new animated film from Intuit, racking up over 10 million views in less than a week.

While independent, Freedom Fry has amassed over 50 million streams on Spotify and earned numerous #1 appearances on HypeMachine. Their music can be heard in over 50 films, shows, and commercials including Judd Apatow's Love, Showtime's Shameless, Grey's Anatomy, and in high-profile ads for fashion labels such as Lanvin and Madewell. They have performed in Europe and throughout the U.S. with the likes of Stromae, Phantogram, and X Ambassadors.

Freedom Fry's music, which heavily bleeds the warmth and sunshine of their home state of California, skirts the lines between pop, folk, and alt rock. The band closed out 2017 with the release of their critically acclaimed Strange Attraction EP and are gearing up for a big year in 2018. Stay tuned for the first official album single later this month!
