KREWELLA Offers Free Remix of #1 Dance Track 'Alive'
Chicago trio KREWELLA are back with a brand new remix by Pegboard Nerds of their current #1 radio track "Alive." The remix made its debut yesterday on UKF and now, special for fans, an MP3 of it can be obtained for free via the group's Facebook page and Soundcloud.
The song is a preview of a selection of banger remixes that will appear on PLAY HARDER, their forthcoming remix EP due out later this year. Meanwhile, the original version of "Alive," which features lyrics penned and sung by KREWELLA's sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf and music produced by Rainman, is charting at #1 on the Nielsen BDS Dance Airplay Chart. It's also ranking #6 on Billboard's Dance Mixshow Airplay Chart and #4 on the BPM Top 20 Countdown, with support from stations across the country.
On the live front, KREWELLA continue on their Play Hard Tour which takes them to Electric Daisy Carnival in Orlando this weekend and then on to Austin for the opening of the new Formula 1 racetrack where they will be DJing, hosting and presenting acts including Kaskade, T-Pain, Dev and Afrojack. Later this month, the trio heads down under to Australia to appear at several Stereosonic festivals and then return in December for more dates in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago, rounding out 2012 with two shows in Dallas and Denver on New Year's Eve.
KREWELLA's #1 EP Play Hard is out now on iTunes and Beatport.
