Jackie Evancho To Perform Music Of Joni Mitchell And More At City Winery Boston
A worldwide sensation when she was only ten years old, appearing on NBC's America's Got Talent, Jackie Evancho has moved past the promise of a child prodigy.
Chart-topping vocalist Jackie Evancho will perform music from her album Carousel of Time featuring songs by Joni Mitchell on Sunday October 16 at City Winery Boston. Evancho will take her audience on a musical panegyric from Joni's earliest classics "Both Sides Now" to her iconic 1971 hits, "A Case of You" and "Blue" to her enduring all season standard, "River."

Carousel of Time reached #1 on Amazon's Folk Chart on pre-sales alone this summer. This follows a string of Platinum and Gold albums, with sales of more than 3 million in the U.S., alone. She has also made history as the youngest, solo Platinum artist in the U.S.; the youngest Top 5 debut artist ever in the U.K.; and the youngest person to give a solo concert at Lincoln Center.
